A 501c3 Tax Exempt Foundation

Upon completion, this building/project will apply to become certified under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.

The Mitchell County Historical Courthouse Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for the residents of Mitchell County through programs of education, historic preservation, and community development that will be made possible by the renovation and effective long-term programming and management of the Mitchell County Historic Courthouse.
