Welcome
Welcome to Mitchell County’s Historic Courthouse. Since 1907, the historic courthouse has been a major contributor to the county’s heritage and history. Renovated in 2009, the stately building now serves the county as a 21st Century state-of-the-art event center equipped for meetings, entertainment, presentations, learning, and conferencing.
The Mitchell County Historical Courthouse Foundation adopted the theme of “Putting Heritage to Work” which indicates that while the building is of historical significance, it continues to contribute to the economic development of Mitchell County. The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for the residents of Mitchell County through programs of education, historic preservation, and community development that are made possible by the renovation and effective long-term programming and management of the Mitchell County Historic Courthouse.
Schedule your next event at the Mitchell County Historic Courthouse and keep heritage working.
