William Anderson, Board Treasurer
William Anderson is a member of the Board and is Treasurer of the Mitchell County Historic Courthouse Foundation. His work background includes over 25 years experience as a commercial banker; service as Chief Financial Officer for three corporations with revenues ranging from 50 to 100 million dollars; and is currently a business consultant focused on organizational analysis, strategic leadership initiatives, and change management.
Mr. Anderson has served on the Boards of various professional and civic organizations including the American Furniture Manufacturer’s Association -Finance Division, National Association of Mirror Manufacturers - Human Resources, United Way - Treasurer, Chamber of Commerce, and numerous other affiliations and interests.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College, a Master of Business Administration from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University, and has completed the European Business Studies Program at King’s College, Oxford University. Mr. Anderson is a native of Mitchell County, NC.
